HANNOVER MESSE 2026: BRINGING EUROPEAN INDUSTRIAL AMBITION TO THE HEART OF INDUSTRY
From 20 to 24 April 2026, the European Commission joined the global industrial community at Hannover Messe, the world’s leading trade fair for industry. Together with DG GROW, WMH Project supported the Commission’s presence throughout five days dedicated to competitiveness, innovation and the transformation of European industry.
At the heart of the experience was the European Commission stand, conceived not only as a showcase, but as a living platform for exchange. Across 32 sessions and more than 100 speakers, policymakers, industry leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs came together to discuss the priorities shaping Europe’s industrial future – from competitiveness and SMEs to strategic technologies, global partnerships and the green and digital transitions.
With around 800 visitors per day, the stand created multiple opportunities for direct dialogue, combining panel discussions, presentations, high-level moments and “Meet an EU Expert” exchanges. A tangible way of bringing European policies closer to the companies, technologies and people turning them into industrial reality.
For WMH Project, Hannover Messe illustrates the power of events to take European policy beyond institutional walls and place it directly where innovation happens – connecting public ambition with industry, expertise and opportunity.
