SEPTEMBRE BOUGE 2026: LET’S GET A WHOLE NATION MOVING

What if the first step towards better health was simply to get moving? Throughout September 2026, Septembre Bouge turned this simple idea into a nationwide invitation to action. Supported by the French Ministry of Sports, Youth and Community Life, the initiative encouraged people across France and its overseas territories to rediscover the pleasure and need of physical activity, playing sports more accessible, inclusive and part of everyday life.

Alongside the Ministry, WMH Project helped bring this ambition directly to the public through an extensive roadshow travelling across 18 cities. Each destination became an opportunity to connect national public health priorities with local communities, creating welcoming spaces where everyone could participate, regardless of age, experience or physical ability.

Through free sporting activities, interactive workshops, demonstrations and encounters with local associations and health professionals, Septembre Bouge transformed the simple act of moving into a collective experience. More than promoting sport, the initiative encouraged healthier habits, social connections and a renewed sense of community.

The programme demonstrated how the legacy of a major international event can continue to inspire participation long after the closing ceremony. For WMH Project, Septembre Bouge reflects our conviction that the most meaningful events do more than bring people together: they inspire people to take part, embrace change and carry that momentum into everyday life.
