L’APPEL DE PARIS FOR THE TWO-STATE SOLUTION: BUILDING BRIDGES THROUGH DIALOGUE
On 12 June 2026, Paris became a meeting point for Israeli and Palestinian civil society committed to keeping the prospect of peace alive. At the invitation of French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot, peace activists, experts, associations and intellectuals gathered alongside ministers, European institutions and international partners to formulate concrete recommendations in support of a negotiated two-state solution.
Delivered with the support of WMH Project, the event required our teams to operate at the heart of a particularly sensitive diplomatic environment, where flawless coordination, discretion and attention to every detail were essential to creating the conditions for dialogue.
The day culminated in a powerful symbolic moment on the Pont de la Tournelle, where participants came together around one shared message: “Two peoples, two States, one future.” The gathering gave physical form to the ambition of the conference: building bridges not only between civil society and governments, but between people whose voices and experiences need spaces in which they can meet.
For WMH Project, the project illustrates a fundamental dimension of our work: creating the spaces where institutions, ideas and people can come together – even when the conversation is complex.
