NEPTUNE FORUM: EXPLORING THE OCEAN, CONNECTING THE WORLD
From 6 to 8 June 2026, the Neptune experience transformed Musée d’Histoire Naturelle de Paris (National History Museum) and Jardin des Plantes into a meeting point for ocean exploration, science and imagination. The three-day programme culminated on World Ocean Day with the Neptune Forum, an international gathering dedicated to the Ocean as a planetary system and a space for global cooperation.
Conceived as a “Davos of Ocean Exploration”, the Forum brought together political leaders, scientists, explorers, philanthropists, economic actors and creators around one central question: how can new forms of international cooperation emerge through the Ocean? One year after UNOC3 in Nice, the discussions connected blue diplomacy, scientific exploration, biodiversity, innovation and ocean governance.
The three-day programme opened ocean exploration to a wider public through films, photography, immersive projections and encounters with explorers and scientists, creating a bridge between high-level dialogue and public discovery.
For WMH Project, Neptune illustrates what happens when event production becomes the vessel for something larger: connecting people, ideas and institutions around challenges that transcend borders.
